PICKLEBOSS is new team variation of pickleball, using either a standard pickleball or foam-style pickleball.
Teams compete to reach 15 points first while incorporating elements of dodgeball. Each team will have four players on the court at the same time, meaning it is "4 on 4". While the main goal is to be the first team to score 15 points, eliminating players from the opposing team will provide a decisive advantage.
The ‘PickleBoss’, is typically the best or highest-ranked player on a team (DUPR), whose role is crucial to the game's strategy and outcome. In theory, PICKLEBOSS’ gameplay should be well thought out, as each team navigates the dual objectives of scoring points and eliminating opponents. Ideally, an exhilarating match of PICKLEBOSS could culminate with each team's players retired, leaving only each PickleBoss to finish the game in a one-on-one showdown.

1. Release of Liability and Claims
By signing this waiver, I, the undersigned participant, agree to release, waive, and discharge Moment Performance, INC., doing business as Moment Pickleball and The Hidden Pickle LLC., dba 3rd Shot Pickleball (hereafter referred to as “the Event Promoter”), its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any property belonging to me, while participating in or attending the PICKLEBOSS Invitational, whether caused by the negligence of the Event Promoter or otherwise.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in the PICKLEBOSS Invitational (Event) involves risks, including, but not limited to, the risk of injury from the sport itself, physical exertion, and interaction with other participants. I acknowledge that (intentional or unintentonal ball contact or accidental contact with other players is a part of the game, including being hit with a pickleball on all areas of the body, and that contact with the face or other sensitive areas could occur. I understand and accept these risks and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event.
3. Consent to Participate
I hereby consent to participate in the Event. I acknowledge that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event. I understand that I am required to wear protective eyewear (glasses) during the event, and I agree to do so.
4. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event Promoter from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
5. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Event Promoter to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.
6. Image and Likeness Release
I grant permission to the Event Promoter to use photographs, videos, or other recordings of me taken during the Event for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, social media, website content, and marketing materials.
7. Governing Law
This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from participation in the Event shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Boulder County, Colorado.
8. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this waiver and release, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it. I sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
